In this episode, I help you to see and explore your interests from a different standpoint - not just as being 'optional' and 'entertaining', but as an important source of passion and energy in life. I also examine the topic of 'interests' from your children's point of view, as well as the role interests play for you as a parent.

The objectives of the episode are for you to:

• Understand how your interests support your basic human needs, and how they create a significant source of passion and energy in your life.
• Understand how interests are critical in the stage of development your high school and college aged children are experiencing, and how to leverage interests as you lead your children during this stage.
